If you see reference to ARP in regulations, that is the Airport Reference Point, which is a computed latitude/longitude representing the approximate geometric center of all usable runways. See the NOAA page for more info. The ARP for airports is indicated below, and clicking on it should open Google Maps and show the airport. You can then calculate your distance from the ARP using Google Maps.
